The weekend before Christmas, my husband and I travelled to Pittsburgh to celebrate his birthday. He'd never been to Pittsburgh before and since we're both Steelers fans, for his birthday I surprised him with tickets to a Steelers game. (Other
surprise here.) He picked the Dec 23rd game against the Browns. They lost, but we'll gloss over that part...

ReplyDeleteTrue, we had a great time... it's unfortunate they didn't win, but they just didn't have a great season. Guess there's always next year. And maybe that's an excuse to go back.

DeleteHooray Pittsburgh! I lived there until six months ago, and it is my absolute favorite city! Still go back at least once a month (to visit my boyfriend). Glad you guys enjoyed the wonderful city!
ReplyDeleteMy mom is originally from there, so it was nice because we got to visit some of my family when we went. It's such a great city. My husband had never been, so we did some of the touristy stuff. I'd love to go back when it's not freezing cold and do more stuff outside. I'm sure there's plenty of stuff to do in the other seasons. Would love any suggestions you have for future trips!
