So my husband decided he wanted to try Paleo. I'm going to be honest, I was not excited about it (at all). While I wasn't willing to try the whole Paleo lifestyle for a whole month, I did agree to do one or two meals per week to try it out.
We had our first Paleo meal last week and made a Shepherd's Pie. It was actually really good. Instead of mashed potatoes, the topping was butternut squash. The filling was ground turkey, mixed vegetables, mushrooms, and onions. It was really good.
Has anyone tried the Paleo lifestyle, whether full-time or just for a few meals? What do you think of it? I think the whole giving up dairy and wheat is really difficult, so I'd like to hear from you... if you haven't tried it, would you?
