Happy Friday

Thank goodness for an abbreviated week. It's always tough getting back in the groove after a long break. But I guess it's good to get back in a rhythm.

Here's a brief overview of my week.

 

one: My wonderful husband listened to all my hints about books I wanted for Christmas and got me Stacy London's Truth about Style and Mindy Kaling's memoir. I'm halfway through Mindy's book and it's hilarious.

two: We've been in our house for 3.5 years now and just used our fireplace for the first time.  Funny thing is, Henry was always afraid of the fireplace... but apparently all he needed to conquer this fear was for a fire to be inside.  Weird puppy.  Above is Henry warming up in front of the fire.

three: I did my first outfit post this week. I'm not going to lie, it was stressful.

four: More to come on this, but we made our first paleo meal this week.

five: I probably didn't mention yet, but I'd like to start sewing this year. I'm currently looking for a machine but am really struggling to decide on which brand and model to buy. Seems like every machine has really great and really poor reviews. Any suggestions for make/model of sewing machine?

  3. I readMindy's book over the holidays and thought it was hilarious! I started sewing a little last year, I hope I can get better at it this year! Coming from #h54f. ;)
