I need to do a better job looking for essential pieces like this. Maybe this should be my New Year's Resolution. Smart clothes shopping, always go in with a plan.
Where do you find great blazers or jackets? Do you like to get a basic color or use the jacket to add some flair to your outfit?
I have blazers from F21, H&M, Zara, and Francesca's. I shop pretty much anywhere for them!

ReplyDeletehmmm i bought all my blazers at Urban Outfitters, they always have fun colors and textures. and i really need to invest in one pretty coat. i keep buying cheap ones and they're not all that impressive. i'm stealing your resolution! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, good call! I haven't tried Urban Outfitters. Will have to check them out! I hope this resolution works... I keep thinking it would be a good way to streamline what I own and make investment in pieces that deserve it.

Thanks, Shannon! I think a tweed jacket is at the top of my list, too... I love the texture of one. I saw some great moto jackets this fall (I think it was at the gap) but they just didn't fit me right. I'm gonna have to keep looking for one of those too!

ReplyDeleteoooh, i love jackets and you picked out some GREAT ones!! i tend to find good ones at LOFT that i can wear to work or on the weekends. i also find good ones at H&M, j crew (splurge!), and the impulse section at macys (i can't pass up a good sale)!.

I do love Loft... I have an older jacket from there that I've kind of worn out at this point. I always see cute stuff from JCrew ads, so maybe that'll be the next place I check! Thanks for the ideas!
