Happy Friday! Last Friday before the holidays! It's been a busy week getting ready for the holidays... and I still haven't finished my Christmas shopping or finished cleaning the house for company. Ah well, guess that's what I'll have to work on tonight!
This week, I talked about the cookie exchange I participated in to raise money for kid's cancer. All together we made 659 cookies. I made Chocolate Chip Nutella Candy Cane cookies.
A really yummy (and healthy!) dinner we made this week. Quinoa with mushroom, sweet potato, and kale. Recipe from Real Simple.
Met some friends for drinks before the holidays. There's this small bar near us that has rotating taps and tons of different bottled beers. I'm not a big fan of most beers, but the Banana Bread Beer is pretty great; smells like banana bread too!
Sneak peek at some of my DIY Christmas presents. More to come after the holidays.
Last year's DIY project here.
Last but not least, Merry Christmas to you and your families!
I'll be posting sporadically over the holidays, but hope to update on Monday with some exciting pictures from our busy weekend!
Linking up with Lauren for High Five for Friday.
